Jim C. Hines Jim C. Hines is a fantasy author, blogger, writing workshop mentor, and an activist on several issues related to improving the inclusiveness and safety of the SF community and events. He won the Hugo Award for Best Fan Writer in 2012. Merging a bunch of these roles, Jim edited a collection of personal essays on representation in SF/F called Invisible that was published in 2014. Its success lead to Invisible 2 the following year. Proceeds benefit the non-profit program Con-or-Bust, which helps people of color/non-white people attend SF/F conventions. |
