John Scalzi

John Scalzi is an author, blogger, fanwriter, and sometime photographer, known for his website Whatever almost as much as for his novels and other fiction. Scalzi began his career as a journalist and critic, and has written other non-fiction as well. He served as president of SFWA for three terms, and has won Hugo Awards for best Fan Writer and best Novel.

He also taped bacon to his cat that one time. She wrote him a bio anyway. The suggestion that she also wrote some of his novels is surely just a tall tale born of some spoiled Fancy Feast®.
